This edition is taking place at the ETSIS Telecomunicación (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Sistemas de Telecomunicación), a school situated in the northeast of Madrid, Spain. The ETSIS Telecomunicación is one of the UPM schools within the South Campus, which also includes the INSIA (Instituto Universitario de Investigación del Automóvil), the first Spanish research institute focused on projects for any road transportation system (cars, trucks, buses, etc.).

Getting here

UPM South Campus is located next to the M-40 highway, one of Madrid’s bypass roads, and just 10 km away from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Multiple local bus lines (EMT Madrid), Metro and Cercanías (conventional rail) are also available to get to the campus.

By bus (from Conde de Casal)

By public transport, EMT line E takes you straight to the campus from Conde de Casal, leaving at Telecomunicación y Topografía bus stop. The map above shows where to take it in Conde de Casal. After leaving, check the map below to get to ETSIS Telecomunicación.

To get back to the hotel, you can take line E at Polideportivo – Arboleda (see the map below).

By public transport (from Puente de Vallecas)

From Puente de Vallecas, take Metro line 1 at Puente de Vallecas (direction Valdecarros) and leave at Sierra de Guadalupe. Sierra de Guadalupe is the first stop of EMT line E, which you can take to get to the campus (leaving at Polideportivo – Arboleda).

To get back to the hotel, take line E at Escuela de Informática – Polideportivo (purple marker) and Metro line 1 at Sierra de Guadalupe to Puente de Vallecas (direction Pinar de Chamartín).
